Synopsis
Wally, a soda jerk who longs for an adventurous life, is fired by his employer for reading western stories on the job and hops a freight bound west. He is thrown off near the camp of Prof. Hector Beerbum, who with his daughter, Zalla, operates a medicine show. He saves them from some crooks and is rewarded by being made deputy sheriff. Wally is lured to Zalla's tent by Ross, who forces his attentions on the girl; Wally is knocked cold while the gang spring their confederate from jail. Zalla discovers the identity of the criminals while Wally sets out alone to vindicate himself. He succeeds singlehandedly in capturing Ross and wins the heart of the girl.
