Synopsis

Vigilantes are about to hang The Stranger for holding up the overland stage when Salomy Jane kisses him and he makes his escape. Meanwhile Larabee, an old enemy of Jane's father, Madison Clay, is killed, and The Stranger is again accused. Madison Clay, thinking that Salomy shot Larabee, takes the blame, but both he and The Stranger are acquitted when the real culprit is found. Salomy marries The Stranger.
