Synopsis
Kate Graham and Dan Donovan steal a valuable painting from a country club, and Kate, making her escape alone, forces clubman Al Wellsley at gunpoint to drive her to her apartment. Al is therefore mistaken for one of the thieves and chased by the police, whom he eludes, returning to Kate for an explanation. Al runs afoul of Donovan, who knocks him out and makes off with Kate and the painting. Al recovers consciousness and gives chase. He captures Donovan, returns the painting to its rightful owner, and prepares to make a repentant Kate his wife.
