Synopsis

Sadie Love falls in love with Jim Wakeley, who disappears suddenly when his wife brings suit for divorce. Princess Marise de Marabole and Count Luigi Pallavicini are having an affair, but they quarrel and go to New York. Luigi meets Sadie and they marry despite the interference of Jim and Marise, but they recognize soon afterward that they are not in love and agree to divorce. In order to avoid gossip they go on their honeymoon first, and take Jim and Marise with them. To confuse matters, Jim's wife Lillian and Mumford Crewe, her second husband, arrive and the couples are locked up in rooms together. Jim, posing as Luigi, and Sadie escape together and board a steamer, using the reservations for Luigi's honeymoon. After a series of complications they are discovered. In the end, the couples are paired up: Sadie and Luigi, Lillian and Jim, and Marise and Mumford Crewe. The long delayed honeymoon continues.
