Synopsis

Retired businessman Robert Cameron receives three mysterious threats at his Connecticut home, the last of which warns him of his impending death. Accompanied by Phillip Clyde, his future son-in-law, Robert sails out to sea on his yacht where he picks up a Chinese man, Soy, whom he believes to be a castaway fisherman. Soy drugs Robert and Phillip, rendering them both unconscious, and after releasing Phillip on shore, kidnaps Robert. While holding him captive in a box, Soy reveals his desire to kill the old man for causing the death of dozens of his countrymen many years before during a disastrous smuggling attempt. Unknown to Soy, Robert has a twin brother Donald, who made his money bringing in illegal aliens on a Chinese junk, or sable lorcha, and was the actual perpetrator of the crime. Leaving Robert to endure a slow, torturous death, Soy returns to shore where Phillip tracks him down to Chinatown. The twin brother shows up outside Robert's mansion and is badly beaten by two of Soy's confederates. On a tip from Phillip, the police follow one of the attackers and rescue Robert from Soy's deadly trap.
