Synopsis
Janice Webb comes from the East with her father and Walter Travers to the western ranch of Brian Wayne and Carson. Travers, who plans to marry Janice, plots to depreciate the land value of the property by stealing cattle and having the ranch raided by a band of villains headed by Ruis. Carson is killed, but in his dying moments he has Brian promise to keep his young son Bobbie from his notorious mother, La Belle, who deserted him as an infant. At last Brian agrees to sell the ranch to Travers, but Bobbie reveals that the men have discovered oil on the ranch. Realizing that he has been tricked, Brian destroys the deed. Travers tries to fight the case in court, but justice prevails and Brian also wins Janice.
