Synopsis
"The Wolves" are a renegade band posing as Indians and are led by George La Forte unbeknownst to the members of the miner organization of which he is the head. The gang, on one of its raids, holds up a stagecoach carrying Madge Wilson and her little brothers, the children of miner Scotty Wilson. Although a Wells Fargo man named Kirk Stockwood manages temporarily to halt the gang in its nefarious pursits, he is unable to prevent La Forte from developing an unwanted affection for Madge, who is not at all averse to Stockwood's attentions. Stockwood is held for ransom, which La Forte will pay if Madge marries him. Kirk manages to arrive in time to block Madge's forthcoming marriage to La Forte, allowing them to develop their mutal affection.
