Synopsis

Eve Leslie is sent to boarding school when she inherits a fortune, and because of her new wealth, she feels superior to her boyfriend, Adam Moore. Soon Eve meets Eugene D'Arcy, a wealthy banker who is attracted to her, and later she meets and decides to marry a European count. She and Le Comte de Frais decide to elope and run away on an ocean liner in the hopes of eluding D'Arcy and Adam. Adam stows away, however, and is able to expose the bogus count as well as the lecherous D'Arcy. Finally, Eve realizes that it is Adam who is her true love, and she returns to him a wiser young woman.
