Synopsis
Young society girl Mildred Gower is forced to accept the proposal of General Sidall to save her extravagant mother from bankruptcy, but she has a strong affection for young Dr. Keith. Disgusted with her marriage, she leaves Sidall but falls victim to a plot to trap her aboard his yacht. In an ensuing fire she is rescued by Keith, who has fallen in love with her.
