Synopsis

Although he has been left temporarily in charge of the British War Office, Captain Mills realizes that secret agent James Clifford is the real favorite of his superior, Colonel Brendon, so as a result he decides to make life miserable for James. Mills then removes a secret document from the files and blames James for its disappearance. James suspects that Mills may be responsible for the missing document, and to find it, he disguises himself and joins Mills' weekend yachting party. While on board, he begins a romance with Grace Weston and discovers that Mills has entrusted the document to her. He quickly gets it back, and returns to the office just as Mills is complaining to Brendon about James' behavior. James then produces the document and tells the real story of its disappearance, after which Mills is dismissed from the service and James and Grace continue their romance.
