Synopsis
George Montfort, involved in an extra-marital affair with Lulu, an actress, plans a trip to Biarritz with her, but when his wife, Yvonne, finds the tickets, he swears he bought them for her. George gives the second ticket to Jean Corot, a playwright, and upon their return he learns that his wife is madly in love with Jean. George gives them his blessing, and they are married. One day, Alphonse Martin brings La Belle Toulaise to their home, and she insists that Jean write a play for her. At the premiere of The Popular Sin, Yvonne applauds her husband's triumph but finds him backstage in the arms of the siren. A divorce is arranged, and Jean soon finds himself married to La Belle Toulaise but is soon disillusioned to discover that she is having an affair with George Montfort. Realizing his love for Yvonne, Jean decides to divorce La Belle Toulaise.
