Synopsis
Jimmy Nevins--once wealthy and now engaged to Doris Standish--is reduced to poverty and jilted by her when he is befriended by Mary Butler, the leader of a gang of crooks. The gang dupes him into driving the getaway car for a robbery of the Standish home during Doris' wedding to a wealthy man. Doris balks, runs away from the ceremony, and demands that Jimmy take her away. They go to Mary's apartment, where the furious gang finds them and decides to hold Doris for ransom. Mary sacrifices herself so that Jimmy and Doris can go free.
