Synopsis
While traveling in Europe, Roxanna Smith hurriedly marries the Duke of Moreland (John Clayton), a rather flirtatious Englishman; on their wedding night she finds him kissing another woman and as a result returns to the United States, announcing that her husband suddenly died. At the home of her friend Betty Jackson, who is also accommodating the duke as a guest, Roxanna finds him still in love with her but rejects his pleas. Betty arranges a private party for herself and the duke, hoping for some "excitement," but their discovery by Roxanna proves the latter's jealousy. Finally the duke convinces Roxanna of his true repentance.
