Synopsis
New York City police are chasing "Night Hawk," a crook, when José Valdez, a Mexican American, helps him escape in exchange for Night Hawk's promise to kill a certain sheriff. Night Hawk agrees to do the job, but, arriving in the West, he falls in love with the sheriff's daughter and is unable to complete his mission. He joins the sheriff's posse when José's father, a cattle rustler, illegally makes himself sheriff; then, singlehanded, Night Hawk rescues the girl from José's brigands.
