Notes

The print viewed bore a 1947 copyright date, but the film was not registered until the following year. Although the copyright catalog lists the film's registration date as July 7, 1947, the actual registration documents are dated July 1, 1948 and state that the film was shot at the theater "immediately following the evening performance of June 9, 1947." The print viewed was approximately seventeen minutes longer than the original, official length and appears to have been subsequently fleshed out with footage of a comedy routine with George "Beetlepuss" Lewis, and at least one unidentified striptease dancer. According to promotional materials for the film, Evelyn West's bust was insured for $50,000. The film was copyrighted for a second time in March of 1950.
