Synopsis

Mother McGinn, whose home is a refuge for criminals, has concealed from her daughter, Mary, the fact that her father died in prison. Mary is a pupil in a fashionable girls' school. A riot in San Quentin provides an opportunity for Boston Blackie to escape. On his way to Mother McGinn's, Mary unknowingly assists him in evading the police, and she is expelled from school when detectives inform school administrators the truth about her father. Returning home, Mary finds Blackie, whom she has grown to love. Her attempts to reform him are frustrated at first; but eventually, he goes straight (to jail) with the promise that he will marry her when he is released.
