Synopsis
Found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced on the strength of circumstantial evidence, Daniel Craig (Convict 777) and other prisoners overpower the guards and force the cruel warden, Samuel Green, to sign a document admitting his misdeeds. Joan Gracie, daughter of the newly appointed warden, arrives, and the major, who believes in prison reform, urges Craig to persuade the convicts to surrender. It transpires that the ex-warden's son has committed the crime for which Craig was sentenced, and Craig is cleared.
