Synopsis

While a prisoner of war in Germany, Frank Bennett is attended by Fräulein Marks, a German nurse to whom he is greatly attracted. Fräulein Marks is captured in a British raid and turns out to be Miss Hawtree of the British Secret Service. She is sent to the home of George Bennett, the head of the War Office, with instructions to run to ground a German spy named Boelke. At Bennett's home, Miss Hawtree gives the appearance of falling in love with Valdar, a servant who has been wounded in the war. Valdar turns out to be Boelke in disguise, and Miss Hawtree is responsible for his death. After the war, Frank looks forward to a happy future with Miss Hawtree.
