Synopsis
Leroy "Buster" Shebal, an Alaskan sportsman's guide, takes off in his bush plane from Fairbanks and travels north to hunt wolves for bounty. Shebal shoots the wolves from his plane as they prey on pregnant caribou. Back at the camp, he witnesses a winter carnival of dog sled and snowmobile races; he then flies to Point Barrow and films Eskimos killing and skinning a polar bear. In the spring when flowers bloom and walruses return to their breeding ground, Shebal goes to the interior to fish for trout and salmon. When fall returns, he flies north again to hunt caribou, moose, and bear.
