Synopsis
While rehearsing for his wedding, businessman Alan Boyd receives a telegram announcing the elopment of his prospective bride with another man, and he swears he is finished with women. An hour later he meets another girl, Helen Raynor, who admires him and is incidentally the daughter of a business rival; however, her mother takes an instant dislike to him. Schuyler Van Loon, a rival suitor, adds insult to injury by presenting him with a strange baby and insisting that Alan is the child's father; his efforts to rid himself of the baby are curtailed by a detective. When Mr. Raynor develops a headache, Alan gives him a medicine he later discovers to be poison. In his pursuit to warn Raynor, Alan and the baby become involved in numerous hilarious adventures.
