Synopsis
Lawson, an unscrupulous promoter selling stock in a worthless mine, is sought by Jack Borden, of the Northwest Mounted, for the murder of his partner. The trail leads to New York, where a fight occurs in a skyscraper and another in a Bowery den. Lawson escapes and returns to the Northwest, and following a number of adventures he is eventually captured by Borden. Borden learns that a stranger in the snow country is the husband of a woman whom he has met in New York and that the two girls to whom he has been attracted--Blanche Hall in the city, and Milly in the Northwest--are sisters. He brings about a reconciliation among the members of the family, then returns to his duty.
