Synopsis
A feud of long standing between Carlton and Adams, two lumber magnates, prevents them from cooperating with each other during an industry crisis. Carlton has contracts and no lumber; Adams has lumber, but Carlton has forbidden him to use the only road by which he can bring it to market. Disgusted by his father's spite, Chester Carlton leaves home and supports himself by driving a taxi. Chester later rescues Adams' daughter from a runaway horse and obtains a job, under an assumed name, as a chauffeur for her grateful father. Steele, Adams' general manager, later attempts to dynamite John and Chester Carlton, but Miss Adams saves them, earning the elder Carlton's gratitude and putting an end to the feud.
