Synopsis
Bill O'Rourke and Lefty Malone, partners in a moving business, live in adjoining flats in an East Side tenement. Bill's younger sister, Molly, keeps house for her brother and assists Mrs. Malone, Lefty's invalid mother. When the boys mistake the belongings of a "Mrs. Murphy" for those of Spug Murphy, a heavyweight fighter, Lefty proves his fistic ability; and in order to raise money for his mother's operation, he accepts the offer of a fight manager. He proves successful in the ring, but quick success turns his head and he becomes infatuated with Kitty. In a bout with Murphy, Lefty is overconfident and loses the fight, but the excitement cures his mother. Realizing the error of conceit, he is reunited with Sally.
