Synopsis

Pat O'Farrell, a wealthy young man who works as a truckdriver for his uncle's milk company, saves Claire Knight from thugs and falls instantly in love with her. Pat then discovers that Stanton Wade, a crooked attorney, is planning to steal a newly perfected supercharger from its inventor, Dad Perkins. Pat manfully manages to prevent Wade's henchmen from obtaining it. Claire later confides to Pat that her father, who manufactures Night-Hawk racing cars, is deeply in debt to Wade. Pat decides to enter an important automobile race using a Night-Hawk racer equipped with the revolutionary supercharger. Wade's thugs kidnap Pat, but he frees himself by racetime and, despite dirty work by Wade, wins the race. The winner's share is enough to pay off the elder Knight's debt to Wade, and, to the delight of everyone, Claire and Pat become engaged.
