Synopsis
Rocky Marciano and Muhammad Ali, two undefeated heavyweight champions, are featured in a simulated fight. The film begins with scenes from the training camps of both fighters and moves to the actual fight. Off-screen interviews are conducted with Joe Louis, James Braddock, Max Schmeling, Jack Kearns, Jr., and Nat Fleischer. After 12 rounds, Marciano wins by a knockout. [Seventy one-minute rounds and seven possible endings were filmed; the results were then determined by computer and kept secret until the first showing of the film.]
