Synopsis

Sam Gibson and Jock McTeague, former partners in a livery stable, have a falling out when McTeague opens a service station and insists that his son, Bobby, keep away from the horses. Queen, a racehorse owned by Gibson, breaks loose on the street and is rescued by Jimmy Burke, a famous jockey, who agrees to ride Queen in a race to please Mollie, Gibson's daughter. During the race, Queen falls, injuring Jimmy, and though he recovers they are forced to sell the horse to defray hospital expenses. Jimmy prevents a peddler, the new owner, from beating the horse at a fair and makes him resell the horse to Sam. Jimmy secretly trains young Bobby to ride, but when the boy is unable to ride in a race, Jimmy, regaining his courage, wins the race and the heart of Millie.
