Synopsis
Harry Gibson, in extreme financial ruin, keeps the fact from his sister, Eve, and attempts to recover their fortune by a nefarious scheme involving pearl smugglers. As captain of his boat, he hires Matt Russell, who falls in love with Eve, who is also pursued by ungentlemanly Jim Darrell. Matt loses his license and is fined when customs officials find some pearls in an Oriental statue he is delivering for Harry. Darrell, threatening to prosecute Harry for nonpayment of a debt, persuades Eve to come to a yacht party; meanwhile, Matt, having been hired by Darrell, saves Eve from his advances, and the crew starts a mutiny. Captain Barry orders their motorboat run down; and to save Eve, Harry blows up the ship, destroying himself along with the villains.
