Synopsis
Sammy Nosenblum and Bud Swenson, who went to France to fight for democracy in 1918, return to Paris for an American Legion convention 10 years later. Sammy believes a war wound has caused him to become a kleptomaniac, and Bud makes him go to a famous specialist, who does him no good. Sammy and Bud are later drafted by mistake into the French Foreign Legion and, arriving in North Africa, rescue the commandant's daughter from a harem.
