Synopsis

Soon after marrying Amy, Ralph Hadley starts falling in love again with his first wife, Jessica. The estranged couple becomes more and more intimate until Amy, who is pregnant, hears about the romance and decides to appeal to Jessica to break up with Ralph. Realizing that she has no right to deny the baby its father, Jessica agrees to end the affair, after which she marries an old friend, Billy Kilmartin, and refuses to see Ralph. Heartbroken, Ralph decides to commit suicide, but Amy's doctor brings him to his senses when he tells him that the baby has just been born. Elated by the news, Ralph quickly reconciles with his wife.
