Synopsis

Tom Dorgan takes the rap for a train holdup and a murder, goes to prison, and escapes during a fire. Meanwhile, the express company has hired agent Phil Sampson to recover the stolen loot. The agent links Dorgan to Dorothy McClure, the daughter of the murdered man, and arrives at her ranch simultaneously with two rough characters delegated by Dorgan to watch over the girl--Bull Bradley and Spike Harkness, who claims to be her cousin. Dorgan arrives, he produces the missing package, and several scuffles break out. Bradley is bumped off by the cousin, and Dorgan explains that Bradley was his son and guilty of the crimes for which he went to prison. Thus, all ends well for the agent and the girl.
