Synopsis
A distinguished British statesman, through excessive indulgence, has nearly ruined his political career and his homelife. He persuades a struggling journalist, who is his cousin and his exact double, to change places with him and thus redeem his political career. The moral dilemma posed by the wife's love for the double is solved by the statesman's death.
