Synopsis
Unjustly accused of theft, cabaret hostess Betty Carlisle ducks into a hospital to escape capture and pretends to visit a blinded, crippled soldier. They become interested in each other, fall in love, and marry. Through Betty's encouragement, the soldier recovers his health; he, in turn, forgives Betty for her past, which is revealed to him by a malicious former acquaintance of hers.
