Synopsis
Dorothy Graff, the unsophisticated daughter of a stern, protective cobbler, dreams of wealth and a chance to lead a gay cabaret life, to which a chum introduces her. On one of her nights out she meets Bert Emmonds, they fall in love and elope, and Johann disowns his daughter. Unfortunate circumstances separate the Emmondses, and Dorothy must take a job as a cigarette girl. Bert finally finds her, Johann relents, and all are happily reunited.
