Synopsis

Jacqueline Roland, whom Raoul Radon has loved since childhood, meets Henri Dubois when she visits the city but is unresponsive to his attentions. Dubois later comes as the new boss to the lumber camp where Jacqueline lives. He is closely followed by his longtime blackmailer, Li Chang. Henri convinces Raoul that Jacqueline has transferred her affections to himself. Li Chang and Henri fight over Jacqueline and start a forest fire in the process. Raoul learns of Jacqueline's plight and searches for her unsuccessfully--she was rescued by her father--but he saves Henri for Jacqueline's sake. After thrilling efforts against the fire, Jacqueline and Raoul are reunited.
