Synopsis

Mary was born with music in her feet: she danced at school, work and play, and was known as the girl who couldn't keep her feet still. After her mother's death, Mary's grandfather, Daddy Weston, bought a traveling dance show to give Mary a chance to showcase her talents. When Daddy dies, Mme. La Rue, the show's wardrobe mistress, and her daughter Zella go to Mary's guardian and try to claim her inheritance, asserting that Zella is really Mary. After much adversity, Mary finds a friend in "Silent Bob," finally proves her identity, and all ends well.
