Synopsis
By getting engaged to Bob, Elsie Corwin resigns herself to a life of quiet monotony. Just before the wedding, however, she meets Jim Mills, who indulges in every imaginable passion and gives in to every possible temptation. Elsie breaks her engagement and becomes Jim's mistress, but she soon grows despondent over the profligacy of her new life style, and decides to commit suicide. Just as she jumps into the river, however, she wakes up, and after realizing that she had only dreamed of being a kept woman, she quickly marries Bob.
