Synopsis
Yano, a romantic young man who is in love with the pretty Tama, delivers packages for his uncle Goro, the proprietor of a San Francisco Chinatown antique shop. Yano befriends Letty Stanford, a World War I Red Cross worker, and later Letty and her fiancé, Frank Maxwell, rescue Yano's beloved dog from the dogcatcher. One evening, Yano finds that he is locked out of his uncle's house and is forced to spend the night in the street. He enters a gambling den but escapes the police raid, after which he learns that Letty has been abducted by German spies. With the aid of a disguise, Yano helps Letty to escape and the spies are arrested. Letty's father rewards Yano so handsomely that he finally is able to build a cottage for himself, his dog and Tama.
