Synopsis

A few years after escaping from the monotony of high society and moving West to become a cowboy, Steve O'Dare returns to New York to visit some friends. Although he soon tires of "sissified" Eastern ways, his friends assure him that, if he remains in New York, he will have the thrill of his life. Steve grudgingly believes them, and then decides to introduce himself to Count Marinoff's beautiful ward, whom he saw in a posh restaurant. When he arrives at the count's mansion, however, Steve is attacked by a dozen men, whom he eventually fights off. Then his friends greet him and tell Steve that this was the thrill that they arranged for him. Hoping to get even, Steve decides to demonstrate how things are done on the range, so he calls in some local cowboys to hold his friends at bay, kidnaps a very willing ward, and then sends word that he has married her.
