Synopsis

Milt Dale discovers that Clint Beasley is scheming to kidnap Nancy Raynor, who is to inherit a ranch from her dying uncle. Dale outwits the gang by kidnaping the girl himself and taking her to his cabin. Nancy seizes his gun and has him jailed. Distressed over her uncle's death, she is easy prey for the amorous attentions of Beasley; but when she begins to mistrust him, Beasley takes her to his ranch. With the aid of his pet cougar, Dale escapes jail; at Beasley's ranch a struggle ensues, and Beasley is killed. Nancy, realizing Dale's innocence, admits her love for him, and they are united.
