Synopsis

When a husband sees his wife with another man, he abandons her and soon decides to drown himself. At the pier, he watches a woman attempt suicide by jumping into the ocean, and then he dives in to save her. She looks exactly like his wife, and before she dies, she recognizes him, and tells him that she is his wife's gypsy half sister, about whom the wife had never known. A man who loved the wife had hired the gypsy to impersonate her and flirt with a stranger, and so convince the husband of her unfaithfulness. The husband then seeks out the man and beats him, and, because he is wanted for a murder, turns him over to the police. Afterward, the husband's wife warmly welcomes him back when he explains his mistake and apologizes for it.
