Synopsis
Bruce Sherwood, a carefree cowboy, learns from gunman Buck Helm that Buck has been hired to kill Cale Winters, an old prospector living with his daughter, Tess. When Bruce, masquerading as Buck, goes to warn the old man, he is mistaken for the killer by Tess and is nearly shot. Then Bruce is overpowered and imprisoned by Buck and Jim Kane, a crooked real estate agent who is trying to force Cale to sell his mine. Just as Jim is about to kill the old man and disfigure Tess's face because she refuses to marry him, Bruce shows up and drives the two outlaws away.
