Synopsis
Betty, an orphan heiress living in Texas with her aunt and uncle, attempts to elope with Bert, an aviator from Waco, but is prevented by her uncle. On her 20th birthday she is sent to New York to be properly introduced in society, and there she finds Bert masquerading as her aunt's chauffeur. Mrs. Sedgwick presents Betty with a valuable pearl necklace one evening, and when the lights are extinguished the pearls are stolen by two servants in league with a gang of crooks. After a series of skirmishes with Bert, the thieves are cornered by Betty, and following their arrest she and Bert depart for a honeymoon in his plane.
