Synopsis

The "Bar C" gang has been squatting on the best ranch in the territory, and no one is brave enough to challenge their claim until gold is discovered on the land. With millions of dollars at stake, a land development company hires "The Stranger," who has won the grudging respect of the gang, to get the "Bar C" boys off the ranch and give it to the rightful claimant. Dave Moore, a local rancher, thinks that the land legally is his, and "The Stranger" soon begins to work with him. The gang kills Dave, however, and then Bobbie, his only child, who had always dressed as a boy, reveals herself to be a young woman, after which she and "The Stranger" fall in love. Then, with the help of the townspeople, "The Stranger" finally is able to get rid of the gang, and a court upholds Dave's claim to the ranch. Possession of the land goes to Bobbie, and she promptly marries "The Stranger."
