Synopsis
Ned Connors becomes a drunkard after his wife leaves him to marry Dr. Martin. One day, while wandering in the woods, Ned finds a child (Nancy), takes her home, and finds that she brings new happiness into his life. When Nancy becomes ill, Ned goes for Dr. Martin, who recognizes Nancy as his own wife's child. Ned kills Martin when the latter attempts to abduct Nancy; the child effects a reconciliation between Ned and his ex-wife.
