Synopsis

"Describes the final adventure of a youthful crook of good blood, whose weakness is a desire to rob the rich. He protects himself from suspicion by assuming the role of an evangelist, known as 'the holy man,' going about preaching, making converts of others and then when the psychological moment offers, makes his 'haul' and 'getaway.' His carefully laid plans, however, do not provide for such an obstacle arising as his falling in love with the daughter of the man he plans to rob. She unconsciously awakens the better man and when the way is prepared the mad youth finds himself a convert of his own preachments, and that what he desires more is to live aright and become eligible for the hand of the girl who brings about the change of heart and desire."
