Synopsis
A bitter feud begins in a southern mountain community between the Benchleys and the Camps when Lew Camp learns that his daughter Nell was taken from her mother to replace a dead child in the Benchley family. For years the Camps try to get Nell back; then Billy Buell, a chivalrous stranger, falls in love with her and restores her to her mother. The Benchley clan arrives at the Camp homestead for a shoot-up. The feud is ended, though, when Buell announces that he wishes to marry Nell.
