Synopsis
Returning to her South American home from a college in the United States, Dolores Valdez falls in love with Dan Stone, the ship's doctor, who believes he has accidentally killed a man protecting Dolores. Dolores' uncle, Don Diego, tries to persuade her to marry Manuel Ortego, with whom he is engaged in a mysterious business. Dan is given sanctuary by Ortego on the condition that he cure a certain Bascom, who is ill; Dan and Dolores uncover the counterfeiting operation of her uncle, but they are observed by a giant Negro who captures Dan and then, becoming his friend, helps him escape. Dan is aided by the U. S. Marines and routs the counterfeiters. Dolores learns she is the true heir to the Valdez estate; she and Dan go on a honeymoon with the giant Negro as their valet.
