Synopsis
This film looks at untraditional Hollywood: the people swept up in the whirl of current fads and trends. Scenes of sundry actors, would-be actors, models, artists, transvestites, flower children, and politicians, among others, take place at film premieres, parties, on streets, and in cemeteries. Psychologist Richard Alpert talks about LSD; sculptor Valerie Porter talks about her art; a woman submits to body painting; and skydiver Jim Arender leaps out of an airplane in a free fall to earth.
