Synopsis
Dan O'Brien, a postal employee, has a hard time making ends meet on his small salary, but he saves money to educate his son Terrence and adopts a little girl who is left on his doorstep. Seventeen years later Terrence, also a postal employee, is commended for bravery when he dives into a river with a mailbag he has retrieved from some crooks, and Dan O'Brien is personally congratulated by the postmaster general for preventing robbers from looting a safe.
