Synopsis

Dundee, a worker in a New Jersey steel mill, meets Mary Malone, sister of Pat Malone, a defeated boxer, at a cabaret and knocks out Killer Agerra when he tries to force himself on Mary. Dundee, under Pat's guidance, then trains for a scheduled bout with Agerra. But Dundee is framed for a shooting, and during his prison term he works on the rockpile developing his muscles. Following his release Dundee substitutes for another fighter against Agerra; Mary, on a hunch, tells him he was framed by his rival, spurring him on to win in the final round.
